    Veil Entrance:

    ·         With veil wrapped, Strut:  Right, Left, Right, Left.  R-hand reaches across to L-Hip, pull veil from hip tuck around back while pivoting to the Right, transfer to L-Hand, pause.

    ·         R-Hand reaches for R-Hip, untuck veil from R-Hip, swirl veil in front of body, “around the world”, toss in air to catch an edge, then spin body with veil to the back of the stage, forming a straight line of dancers, toss veil over head towards the back of the stage, keeping arms up, then release veil so that it falls to the floor, pose.

     

    ·         8 Hip-Dip/Hip-Drops, while Pivot-turning to the Left.

     

    ·         4-count sideways lunging snake arms to the sides (R-L-R), Pose

     

    ·         8 Pony Hip-Drops (Pie-dish move), Start with the R-Hip, alternating while moving forward to form a “V” formation.

    ·         Front Row Spins Right (to the back) and Back Row Spins Left (to the front) 4 counts

    ·         On the 4th count, Back Row Kneels while Front Row Flips Right side of skirt onto Left shoulder.

    ·         Moving to the Right while facing audience, do Upper/Lower Body Undulations across the stage – counts 5-16

    ·         On counts 17-18, Right Hand grabs skirt from Left Shoulder and tosses it down

    ·         Left Foot crosses over Right Foot in a Pivot Turn

    ·         Alternating Vertical Hip Figure-8, to the Left, to the Right bring Veil into a “Box” formation

    ·         Give both Ends of Veil to Right Hand

    ·         Release Left Hand, allowing Veil to Slide Down your body

    ·         Kick Left Foot up in Back, taking Edge of Veil into Left Hand

    ·         Alternating Step Forward Right Foot, Left Foot while twisting Right Hand Veil Corners and tucking them into the front of your belt

    ·         Reach up and spread out the top of the Veil overhead to make a “Frame”

    ·         Omi 3 times to the Right

    ·         Right Foot steps Right

    ·         Left Foot crosses over with a Pivot Turn to Face Audience with Hair Toss to the Left

    ·         Grapevine to the Right with a Hair Toss to the Right

    ·         Reach up and Drop Edges of Veil, quick tuck Veil into Hips

    ·         REPEAT HIP DROP Section

     

    After 2nd Veil section, toss veil to the back of the stage, away from audience to get rid of the Veil to be able to repeat the Hip Drop Section on the 3rd time without the Veil.
