Gypsy
offers Belly Dance classes for both Adult and Children, as well
as, on-going Adult Intermediate Belly Dance & Choreography classes. We will
be starting a new class series every 8 weeks. Spanish-Gypsy-Fusion
classes are now being offered at Ottoman Trading Co.

For ages late teen through adult ~ New students may start
this class at any time. Younger students may be allowed on a case-by-case
basis. This class is being offered at Ottoman Trading Co. and the
Northshore YMCA.

Continuing Beginning ~
Adult
NEW Class ~ Follows directly
after Level 1 classes. This class is being offered at Ottoman Trading
Co.
This class is a continuation
of Level 1 and prepares the student for Level 2

For dancers who have taken Gypsy's Level 1 and Level 1.5
Belly Dance classes or have
had prior dance experience and are familiar with the Tamalyn Dallal teaching
methods and are ready to be challenged ~ New students
please contact Gypsy, as this is a fast-paced class that is geared towards
challenging current students and is not a "beginning" class.
Intermediate and/or higher level of belly
dance experience is required so as not to hold up the class while everyone
is learning new choreographies. This class also covers movement to
music based on Soulhail Kaspar's teaching methods, recognizing the different
instruments, rhythms and how to move the body on a dum, tek, pop, lock and
roll, as well as, learning when to shimmy, which body parts to isolate
and/or layer, expression, emotion and feeling the music. This class is offered at Ottoman
Belly Dance & Boutique. I also offer a "Party Style" class for your
party or event. Please inquire for more information.
*Spanish-Gypsy-Fusion
~ ***Please Note:
This class is currently in session and is closed to new dancers. It
will reopen to new dancers in September. ~
This is a Spanish-Gypsy Fusion style of dance incorporating the use of dance
swords, flutter fans, 25-yard skirts and/or shawls. This class only offered
at Ottoman Belly Dance & Boutique.

Performance Class ~ This class will be a continuous class for students wishing to
learn various choreographies in Egyptian Cabaret, Gypsy-Fusion, American
Belly Dance-Fusion and more... Performance opportunities will be
provided to those interested in performing who demonstrate a strong desire
to perform and who have learned the various choreographies. Perfection
is not required for performance, just your desire to be the best that you
can be. This class is offered at Ottoman Belly Dance & Boutique.

For ages 5-10, mid-teens will be determined upon
maturity to be allowed in the beginning adult classes, on a case-by-case
basis
~ New students may sign up with Dena at Ottoman Belly Dance &
Boutique to reserve your spot. Class will be offered when the minimum
number of students have enrolled.
Children's classes will run for a 6-week session and on the
6th week, we will have a mini-recital where parents, friends and family may
come watch the children perform. :)
