About me:
I was first exposed to belly dance when I was thirteen.
My father, Joel Gamble, was the violinist for the local world music band Hejira. It was love at first sight. However, I had never dreamed of taking
it up until Gypsy de Rose talked me into trying a little during a Hejira
performance. By the end of that night, I was losing myself in the music and
the dance, and I started performing with them from then on out. I have
danced many different places with Gypsy, with Hejira, and on my own. I, just
as any other dancer, am constantly trying to learn, grow, and expand my
horizons. My dance is inspired by the people I love and the music that
speaks to my heart, and every time I dance it is an opportunity to find
something new within my soul to share with my audience- even when that
audience is only myself. |
